About Us

It is a privilege to be able to introduce myself as the Headteacher of Lansdowne Academy. Our school is a happy and cheerful place to learn and grow and we are proud of the way our children achieve during their time with us.

During these important early years we know that enjoyment is essential for learning. The vibrant classrooms provide a stimulating environment that will encourage curiosity, motivating children to learn. We actively encourage parents to be a part of our school and hope that they will make the most of every opportunity to share their child's learning experience. The importance placed on the parent's role in their child's education is reflected in the time given to family liaison work. All children new to our school will receive a Home Visit so that time can be spent getting to know the whole family.

We look forward to being part of your child's education and hope that it will be a happy and rewarding experience for everyone involved.
